Tropical J's, Inc. is a family owned business conceived in 1988 by Jeri Barnes as a concurrent course to her husband Gary's military career. Incorporated in 1989, Tropical J's, Inc. was named for Jeri and Gary's three sons Justin, Jonathan and Jordan. It has been providing quality shade and outdoor products to Hawaii's commercial and residential markets ever since. Although its origins arise from beautifully hand-crafted, tropical print hand-held umbrellas, Tropical J's, Inc. has since turned into Hawaii's power house for quality outdoor and indoor shade problem solving. All of our products are engineered to withstand the elements unique to our Hawaii, and nothing is premanufactured. We are a custom, in-house manufacturing business.
